H.W. Chief Wilson, formerly of Orangefield, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 at the Memorial Funeral Chapel, located at 2901 Texas Ave in College Station, Texas.

Wilson was the head coach and athletic director at Bridge City High School for many years and won the state championship title in 1966.
