Moreno named BCCC’s Employee of the Month
The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce announced Chief Operator of the Waste Water Plant, Albert Moreno as their employee of the month at their monthly networking coffee held at the Comtex Wireless, located at 1815 Texas Avenue in Bridge City.
Albert has been employed by the City of Bridge City for nearly 20 years, working there since his daughter was only two days old. He has worked overtime, on call, days and nights all the while being a single parent. He has a kind heart and has always gone above and beyond to make certain the water is balanced and clean for all of the people in Bridge City to use. It has been said that he gives 120 percent into his job. Albert is the father of two daughters and enjoys his grandchildren. He expects to retire in October of this year and wants to explore Vietnam. However, until then, he will be instrumental in completing the $1.4 Million upgrade to the sewer plant.
Albert received a plague sponsored by David Self Ford along with gift certificates donated from the following local chamber members: Peggy’s on the Bayou, Total Impressions Salon, Dupuis Tire and Service Center, Geaux Mail, The Record Newspapers, Complete Staffing, Dairy Queen, Comtex Wireless, Michele Michelle Day Spa, Tiger Rock Martial Arts and David Self Ford.
