Charles Anthony Cessac, 48, of Bridge City, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 19, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City with Father Steve Leger officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.

Charlie was born May 3, 1965 in Orange. He graduated from Bridge City High School. He was married to his wife, Gina for 26 years. He was employed by Jerry Hughes Realty for 22 years, was involved with the Bridge City Chamber and community; and was a prior member of the Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had several gifts and talents. He was a painter and a carpenter. He could build anything. Charlie was a self-proclaimed “chef.” He loved to cook and over the years we all enjoyed the feasts he would create. Charlie was a busy man, but he loved to relax, sit outside with a friend by his side, and a drink in his hand.

We are grateful to have had Charlie in our lives. He was a giver and always willing to help others and would do anything for you. He would not let you down and you could count on him always. He was there to lift you up and make you laugh, and laugh right along with you. Charlie was a loving son, husband, father, uncle and friend.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles William Cessac; and his grandparents, Anthony and Gladys Cuccio; and Alfonse and Lois Cessac. He is survived by his wife Gina Cessac; their children, Anthony, Collin and Andrew; his mother, Phyllis Green and her husband, Danny Green; step-brothers, Troy and Slade Green; Aunt Cathy and Burt Allman; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dwight Bickham, Kerry Caillouet, John Cannatella, Oran Day, Mark Fiorenza, Jose Gonzalez, Justin Sanderson, and Donnie Shockley.
