Lyndal M. White, 85, Bridge City, died Friday, Aug. 16, at his home. He was born Jan. 31, 1928 to Willie and Mea (Reed) White, Sr. in Edgerly, LA.
He proudly served in the United States Navy for two years in the CIC division. He retired from Gulf Refinery in Port Arthur, and has been a resident of Bridge City since 1952.
Lyndal was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Bridge City. He loved to work in the yard, and loved Hank Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Julie Ann; and brothers, Larry, Willie Jr. and A.J.
Survivors: daughters, Lynda Schexnayder, of Bridge City, and Edy Flexser (Ted), of Clarksville, TN; sons, Mark White, of Bridge City, and Joseph White (Genie), of Tarkio, MI; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. White was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service. The family would like to give thanks to River City Hospice.
