Joyce Mary Wyrick, 69, of Orange, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, in her home. A celebration of life will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, Aug. 25, at the American Legion in Orange.

Born in Seattle, Wa, on Feb. 19, 1944, Joyce was the daughter of George Carney and Mary (Stephenson) Carney. She was an avid pool player and member of the American Legion.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father, George Carney; husband, Bill Wyrick; and son, Ronnie Gavin.

She is survived by her mother, Mary (Stephenson) Carney; daughters, Becky Syfrett and husband, Ted of Vancouver, Wa., and Rhona Gavin of Oregon; son, Robin Gavin and wife, Rhonda of Oregon; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, JoAnn Lane, Gloria Butler, and Linda Rollins.
