Mildred Mary “Millie” Lemoine, 83, of Bridge City, died Sunday, Aug. 25, at her home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Bridge City with the Rev. Steve Leger officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, with a Cursillo Rosary at 6:30 p.m. lead by Church Spiritual Leader Ron Jackson, and Celebrant, the Rev. Steve Leger.

Born in Garden City, La, on Aug. 24, 1930, Millie was the daughter of O’Niell Anthony and Marie Frances (Schexnayder) Gauthier. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Millie was a faithful and active member of her church and community. She dearly loved her family, and enjoyed being with, and meeting new friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, O’Niell Anthony and Marie Frances (Schexnayder) Gauthier; and brothers, O’Niell, Charles, and Johnny Gauthier.

Millie is survived by her husband, Louis Lemoine of Bridge City; and her children and their spouses, Jody and Wendie Lemoine of Bridge City, Jada and David Smith of Buna, Jana Lemoine of Bridge City, Jude and Lisa Lemoine of Bridge City, and June and Ricky Badon of Liberty Hill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Joshua, and Jacob Lemoine, Zachary, Kendall, and Cooper Badon, Mary Smith, and Laura Jones; her sister, Janice Menard of Bridge City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jordan Lemoine, Joshua Lemoine, Jacob Lemoine, Zachary Badon, Kendall Badon, and Cooper Badon.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice in Millie’s name.
