Duward Adrian Trull

Duward Adrian Trull, 87 of Orange, passed away Wednesday, Aug 28, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Born on June 29, 1926 in Leesville, La., to the late, Dock Trull and the late, Flora Mae (Jerrell) Trull, he was a 67 year resident of Orange.

Mr. Trull worked as a rigger for American Bridge in Orange, and later as a security guard at Delta Downs in Vinton. He also served in the United States Navy as a Seaman 2nd Class at the end of World War II; and was a charter member for 62 years at the Brownwood Baptist Church in Orange, where he also taught Sunday School. In his spare time, Mr. Trull enjoyed beekeeping, fishing, listening to Christian music and spending time with his family.

Mr. Trull is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Mae Trull; his son, Richard Trull and his brother, Cameron Trull.

Those who will most cherish his memory are daughters, Patricia Hedgpeth and husband, Jim of Cedar Hill, Mo., and Gayle Swann of Orange; brother, Ivan Trull and wife, Faye of Lake Charles; and his close friend, Dennis Burch of Orange; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Mr. Trull is also survived by numerous members of his extended family.

Services were held Sunday, Sept. 1, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating was the Rev. Bill Burch, pastor at Brownwood Baptist Church in Orange. Rite of Committal and Interment followed services at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange.
