Six arrested in narcotics investigation

On Saturday, Aug. 30, at approximately 10:20 PM, Detectives with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and Deputies of the Orange County Sheriff’s Patrol Division, along with Detectives with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Spooner, in Bridge City.

Once inside the residence detectives located approximately four ounces of methamphetamine, 10 dose units of Lysergic acid diethylamide, methamphetamine paraphernalia, one semi-automatic pistol, one Derringer type pistol and one semi-automatic rifle along with numerous combat style knives.

Arrested were Stephen Shane Hall and Misty Renee Hall, both of Bridge City, Scott Casey Robicheaux of Bridge City, Brannon Lee Wooden of Vidor, Heather Mechelle Singleton of Lake Charles, and Kevin Trent Portie of Sulphur.

All were arrested for possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine a 2nd degree felony; Stephen Shane Hall was also arrested on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1(a) for being in possession of LSD (acid), and three charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon each a 3rd degree felony.

All were transported the Orange County Correctional Facility where they were booked in on the above charges.

These arrests are the result of a yearlong joint investigation by the two agencies into the distribution of methamphetamine in Orange and Jefferson County.
