Benjamin N. Lisenby, 80, of Vidor died Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.

A native of Hartford, AL., he was a longtime resident of Vidor, and a retired field supervisor with BMH Cement. He served his country in the United States Army.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, at Memorial Funeral Home.

Benjamin is survived by his wife of 51 years Linda Lisenby of Vidor, sons: Curtis Lisenby of Vidor, Chris Lisenby of Orangefield, Scott Lisenby of Orange, and Kent Lisenby of Fort Worth, brothers: Samuel Lisenby and Joseph Lisenby both of Port Neches, sisters: Jeanie Jacobs and Janie Raffield both of Milton, FL., 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
