Jane Robbins Brown, 91, of Orange passed away Friday, September 20, 2013, at her home.

Born in Wichita Falls on March 15, 1922, she was the daughter of Walter Long and Mary Gilchrist (Blanks) Robbins. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and their choir and also served 20 years on the disaster committee with the Red Cross.

She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her children, Michael Slade Brown and his wife, Patti, Robbin Brown Jones, and Barbara Brown Ewing and her husband, Stephen. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Slade Brown, Jr., Walter Alan Brown, Slade Browning Jones, Carrie Elizabeth Tilton-Jones, Brown Jacob Ewing and Jeffery Donaldson Ewing and 10 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church in Orange with Reverend Mike Umbenhaur officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
