Dana Lea Silkwood, 46, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 in The Woodlands.

Dana was born Sept. 10, 1967 in Nederland. She graduated from Bridge City High School in 1986 and later pursued a career in nursing. Dana worked as a Registered Nurse in Port Arthur, Tomball and The Woodlands.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bret Silkwood; son, Chris Conley; granddaughter Abbey Rose Conley; mother and step-father, Doris and Joe Myers; sister, Andi Clark Williams; numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Lee O’Daniel “Bill” Clark.

A celebration of Dana’s life will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, Saturday, Oct. 12, at 31110 Imperial Oaks Blvd., Spring, TX 77386. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Silkwood family to help defray medical and other final expenses.
