Dagmar L. Allen, 73, of Bridge City passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.

Born in Coberg, Germany on April 25, 1940, Dagmar was the daughter of Lothar and Edith Moritz. She was a homemaker and Army wife who loved flowers and hummingbirds. Mrs. Allen was a member of the VFW and The Women’s Auxiliary, and every year she loved helping with the Veterans Buddy Poppy program.

Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Arthur Allen; and is survived by her daughter, Angie Hall and husband, Britt of Forney; sons, Roy Allen and Anthony “Ray” Allen, both of Bridge City; grandchildren, Robert Hall and wife, Antonette, Brittany Buttram and husband, Nick, David Hall, and Devin Allen; great-grandchildren, Emilia Hall, Sean Buttram, and one on the way, and her brother, Lothar Moritz and wife, Bärbell of Trebgas, Germany.
