The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Etheleen Mosby, 93, of Orange, will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Long Chapel C.M.E. Church in Lufkin, TX.

Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Chireno Community Cemetery in Chireno, TX under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

She died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, TX.

A native of the Antioch Community in San Augustine County, TX, she resided in Orange since 1952.

A member of the St. Paul C.M.E. Church of Orange, she was also a member of Gate City Court of Calanthe.  Also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she served as the organization Matron for 21 years.

She is survived by her son, Donald Mosby of Orange, 3 brothers, Archie Rogers and Rev. Melvin Rogers both of Nacogdoches, TX, and Harold Rogers of Dallas, TX, 4 sisters, Mary Elizabeth (Pam) Henderson of Garland, TX, Donnie Marie Lee and Margie Murray, both of Nacogdoches, TX, and Gerald Pabalo of  Yorktown, VA, and 1 grandchild.
