Orangefield 7th grader, Sydney Burrows, won first prize in the middle school division of The Beaumont Enterprise's Scary Story Contest.
Burrows' story was selected out of over 700 entries. Sydney's essay will be featured in Sunday's edition of the Beaumont Enterprise.
