Jack A. Waller, 81, of Buna died Tuesday, Oct. 29, at his residence.

A native of Chapman, AL., Jack was a longtime resident of Buna. He was a retired welder with Ingalls Shipyard, and Burton Shipyard. Jack served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at Memorial Funeral Home.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Willie Eugene Waller and Maud Dunn Waller.

Jack is survived by his wife Frances Waller, and son Donald Ray Waller, both of Buna; daughters Jackie Arlene Girlinghouse, Rhonda Faye Myers, and Evelyn Marlene Smith all of Orange; grandchildren: JR Girlinghouse, Timothy Girlinghouse, Cynthia Bergeron, Anthony "Blake" Girlinghouse, David Keith Waller, Donald Ray Waller, Kimberly Ann Waller, Dillen Joseph Waller, Jeffery Allen Waller, Richard Darel Myers, Nichole Smith, and Ethan Smith, and numerous great grandchildren.
