Eloise Mosley, 87, of Hartburg passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Summer Place Nursing Home.

Eloise was a native of Chapman, Alabama; born on February 28, 1926 to the late Maud (Dunn) and Willie Eugene Waller. She had lived in the Hartburg area for 60 plus years and was a faithful and active member of Hartburg Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning and quilting. She also liked going camping and fishing. Eloise was a faithful listener to KOGT especially Trading Post, Gospel Music and Cajun Music on Saturday. Eloise was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed dearly by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Waller; husband, Julius Mosley, daughters, Jeannette Mosley Welch, Judy Mosley Shute; son, Jerry Lynn Mosley; one sister, four brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Joyce Owens and husband, Wayne of Hernando, FL, Janice Hardin and husband, J.R. of Deweyville, Jo Marie Shute of Orange, Joan Hogg and husband, Calvin of Orangefield, sister, Genie Mae Waller Stork of Pascagoula, Miss. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 5 pm until 9 pm at Dorman Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11 am at Hartburg Baptist Church, with Rev. John Fortenberry and Rev. Robert Pitre officiating. Burial will follow at King Cemetery in Hartburg.

Honoring Mrs. Mosley as pallbearers will be James Ray Shute, Charles Welch, T.J. Hardin, Doug Shute, John Boy Hardin, Calvin Hogg Jr., Dustin Hartsfield and Bobby Frank, Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Hogg III, Logan Hand and Ryan Welch.
