A man working with Entergy reported his work truck was burglarized overnight at the LaQuinta Inn, located at 2220 Hwy 62, in Orange.

The victim, who is an employee of Chain Electric Co., of Lafayette La., told officers that somebody gained access to the bucket of the company boom truck, and took several hand tools. The man stated that he was unsure of exactly which tolls were taken, but all were insulated with bright orange insulation on the handles, and regulated for 1,000 volts.

Value of the tools was placed at $1000, and that charges will be pursued if a suspect is found.
