Delbert Dee “Bubba” Robbins

Delbert Dee “Bubba” Robbins, 67, of Orangefield passed away on Friday, Nov. 15, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

He was a native of Port Arthur; born July 28, 1946, to the late Lena (Romero) and Newton Dee Robbins. He lived in the Orange area since 1990, and worked as a tire repair technician for many years. Bubba was a member of Ninth and Elm Church of Christ. He enjoyed watch sports, listening to music and had a great memory for details.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newton Robbins; brother, Glynn Robbins; brothers in law, Wendell Chandler, John Hebert, and sisters in law, Liz Robbins, and Juanita Robbins.

Bubba is survived by his sisters, Lynette Chandler of Orangefield, Estelle Richard of Port Arthur; brothers, Richard Robbins and wife, Charlotte of Groves, Phillip Robbins of San Antonio, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 17, at 1:00 pm at the West Orange Christian Church, with the Rev. Matt Chandler officiating.
