Joe Peevey, Orangefield Junior High teacher and coach, donned a turkey suit all day Friday.

Students from Orangefield Junior High collected over 700 cans in 5 days. Students placed canned goods in select teacher's boxes. The teacher with the most canned goods agreed to wear the turkey costume all day on Friday.

Seventh grade students collected the majority of the canned food items ensuring that their beloved Coach Peevey would win by a landslide. All items will be donated to local families in need of assistance this holiday season.
