Are you looking for a different program for your children? Want something refreshing for the family to experience? First United Methodist Church of Mauriceville may have the program for you.

Christmas Bible School (CBS) is a family friendly program that is easy to attend because it’s on a weekend. And it’s free.

FUMC of Mauriceville is hosting a weekend CBS program that will kick-off at 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, with free hot dogs, play time and music. The parents or guardians will need to register the children (pre-K - 5th grade).

It will begin at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14 with breakfast and late registration. The “CBS” program begins at 9 a.m. and runs through 3:30 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

The closing program will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15.

“This is a wonderful weekend program” said Pastor Sharon Sabom. “Children who might not have an opportunity to experience Christmas Bible School can come because it’s on a weekend. The program is open to the whole community – not just members – and we want the church filled with children.”

First United Methodist Church of Mauriceville is located at 11929 Highway 12 (the corner of Highway 12 and Johnson Rd.) For more information call 409-745-4446, or follow them on Facebook at Mauriceville Methodists.
