The Celebration of Life for Ms. Walterine Compton, 72, of Orange, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Solid Rock Baptist Church. Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. She died Nov. 24, 2013, at Memorial Herman Baptist Beaumont Hospital.
