The Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School Bass Team placed First this Saturday at the SETX High School Fishing Regional Tournament on Sam Rayburn.

The water was very rough with 20 mph winds and many high schools did not stay out the whole tournament. There were 29 SETX high schools, and 280 teams entered. Trent Manuel and Bryce Rambo weighed in at First Place and many of our other LCM teams were close behind.

This was the largest tournament in world history, including Bassmasters and the World Tournament last year. The tournament was hosted by three local school districts and their sponsors; Deweyville ISD – Lisa Moore, LCM CISD – Jenn Doyle, and Bridge City ISD – Nicole Harris.
