Randall Joesph Corkran, passed away very peacefully at home with family by his side. Randy was born July 15, 1951, in Buffalo, N.Y. to Joseph (Cork) and Grace Corkran. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, followed by a service followed by a reception at Good Shepherd Luthern Church, 945 W. Roundbunch Rd., Bridge City, Texas , with Paul Zoch officiating.

His father was in the Navy and they traveled to Calif., Hawaii and various other destinations before they settled in Bridge City.

Randy started his grocery career at Market Basket while in high school, then moving to the food brokerage business in Houston.

Randy had an infectious smile, although his life was short it was very full. He also loved adventure. If he was going to do something he would give it his all. He water skied, boated, golfed, rode long distance bicycle, camped, hiked and canoed. He finally settled on grilling on the pit and fishing.

Randy is survived by his wife, Cindy, their daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Keith Kelly; three grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler and Keegan; and blessed by three great-granddaughters, Aria, Emma and Amelia. Randy is also survived by his younger brother, Dale Corkran, who showed an overflowing abundance of love and compassion to him throughout his battle with cancer. Also, survived by a host of other relatives.

Randy request no flowers. You may send donations to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, or help a friend or family member who is battling cancer by taking a meal to them, sending a card or giving them a call. Oh, how he loved hearing from friends and family. Special thanks to Odyssey Hospice.
