Doyle Lon Egan, 66, of Orange, Texas passed away Monday, Jan.13, 2014, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 10 am, Thursday, Jan. 16, at Old First Orange Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange on Sept. 21, 1947, Doyle was the son of Eddie E. Egan and Katie Belle (Doyle) Egan. He enjoyed his work and fishing as a getaway. Doyle also loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet Egan; sons, Tige Egan and wife, Hillary, Eddie Egan; daughter, Stacy Dumesnil and husband, Ricky; and granddaughter, Katie Dumesnil.
