Anita Faye Jay, 82, of Orange, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, in her home.

Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.

Born in Soper, Ok, on July 23, 1931, Anita was the daughter of Andrew Jackson McKee and Sarah Beatrice (Butler) McKee. She was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and Little Cypress Baptist Church. Anita loved shopping but her all-time favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pauline Crouch; brother, Thomas McKee; and nephew, Charles Crouch.

Anita is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clois Jay; sons, Greg Jay, Donnie Jay and wife, Pat, Joey Jay and wife, Nikki; daughter, Gayla Roberts; brother, Stanley McKee; grandchildren, Jill Jay, Jennifer Jay, Cory Jay, Amanda Jay, Christen Trahan, Shai Greer, Chelsea Greer, Jessica Jay, Josie Jay, Sam Dougharty, Justin Dougharty; great-grandchildren, Skyler Scott, Slayde Jay, Allie Jay, Laikyn Trahan, Hannah Chitty, Baylee Jay, Mason Jay, Cameron Dougharty, Zane Trahan, Cayse Dougharty, McKayla Dougharty, Brenton Trahan, Weston Dougharty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cory Jay, Sam Dougharty, Skyler Scott, Slayde Jay, Josh Ford, and Danny Brister.
