A one vehicle accident claimed the life of a 23 year old Orange man at about 10:00 pm, Wednesday evening. The Texas Department of Safety says that Erik Blake Rigsby was northbound on FM 1130 near Mauriceville, when he apparently lost control of the vehicle he was driving. The car went off the road and crashed into some trees.

Rigsby was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected during the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
