Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School’s Team Force donated $400 to Little Cypress Intermediate’s “Stay and Play” project. Students used proceeds from their cookie sales to make the donation.

According to the group’s teacher, Terrie Parker, “This was a teachable moment for my students. We have been so abundantly blessed this year that I thought it would be great to give back to our Bear family, especially to a project that is dear to our hearts.” Team Force represented the State of Texas earlier this year in the Flag Football Championships that were held at the University of Maryland. Several thousands of dollars were donated by individuals, businesses, and local organizations so that the team could participate at the national level.
