Marjorie Grace Lewis, 86, of Orange, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, at The Meadows in Orange.

A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange Officiating will be the Rev. Jeff Bell, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Lake Charles, on Jan. 12, 1928, Marjorie was the daughter of Ranzy Cady, Sr. and Irene (Sarver) Cady. She worked as a switchboard operator at Monroe Answering Service. Marjorie was a member of Cove Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mack A. Lewis; daughter, Judy Elaine McMillion; granddaughter, Sarah Nichole Patten; brother, Ranzy Cady; and sister, Vernell Walters.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Brenda Smalley of Bridge City, Lisa Fowler and husband, Stephen of Bridge City; eight grandchildren, Jason Smalley, Josh Smalley, Melissa McMillion, Will McMillion, Jesse McMillion, Nancy Blanchard, Olivia Fowler, Hayden Fowler; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, William Cady, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Meadows and the Professional Healthcare Hospice for their love and care during this time.
