Traffic stop leads to arrest for Virginia man

The deputy asked for consent to search the vehicle. The driver consented. In the back seat the deputy located a satchel containing three bundles wrapped in duct tape. The contents were identified as heroin with an approximate street value of $250,000.
The driver was identified as Ronald Clifton Brown, 64, of Clifton, VA. He is currently incarcerated in the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for possession of a controlled substance. His bond has been set at $100,000.
