Bonnie Lee Pepper Peveto, 72, of Orange, passed away Tuesday of Feb. 18, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 12:00, Saturday, Feb. 22, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Randy Branch of Wesley United Methodist Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. Serving as Pallbearers will be Dean Pepper, Chad Pepper, Patrick Toomey, Dale Dugas, Justin Pepper, and Zack Pepper.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Born in Oklahoma City, Ok., on July 25, 1941, Bonnie was the daughter of Raymond Lee Riley and Era Marie (Blocker) Riley. Bonnie taught special education at Orangefield, and was a secretary at Orange County Road and Bridge. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. After retiring from Orange County she enjoyed traveling and had a deep passion for life and her children whom she loved dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie is survived by her sons, Jack Dean Pepper and Chad Pepper, both of Bridge City; daughter, Dana Toomey and husband, Patrick of Little Cypress, and her children’s father Jack Pepper, of Bridge City.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Zackary Dean Pepper, Taylor Dayne Pepper, Justin Pepper, Breanna Pepper, Renna Lee Toomey; great-grandchildren, Patrick Dean and Peyton Lee Pepper; brother, Allen Ray Riley and wife Sheila of Bryan; and half-sister Lana Henley of Austin; special friends and traveling buddies, Norma Hoffpauir, and Sherry Flowers.
