Mardi Gras will soon be in full swing in downtown Orange. This year's event will include a Proclamation ceremony honoring Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Champion and Orange native, Earl Thomas, and a live performance by Wayne Toups & ZyDeCajun.

The Mardi Gras Parade will begin at 5:00 PM at the Orange Riverfront Pavilion and will end around 7:00 PM in the same location.

At 7:00 PM, Mayor Jimmy Sims, Chamber officials and West-Orange Stark High School coaches, Dan Hooks and Cornel Thompson, will lead us in a Proclamation ceremony honoring Earl Thomas and his accomplishments.

Wayne Toups & ZyDeCajun will take the stage from 7:30-9:00 PM, so bring your dancing shoes.

The Orange Boating Club will serve as an event partner selling food items, sodas and adult beverages. Other event partners include Granger Chevrolet and the Orange County Car Crew.

No dogs, pets, or coolers will be allowed on the Pavillion grounds.
