Michael James Elter, 60, of Lake Charles, passed away Monday, March 17, in Orange.

Born in Lake Charles, on June 24, 1953, Michael is preceeded in death by his parents, August Lionel Elter and Ann Sarvaunt Elter.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Maggie Elter LeBouef and Heidi Elter; and siblings, Susan LeBoeuf, Alan Elter and Terry Elter.

The family will hold a private memorial in his memory at a future date.
