Three injured in early morning crash

At approximately 6:30 am, there was a two vehicle crash on Interstate 10 at the 858 mile marker in Orange County.

The driver of a Chevrolet SUV was traveling eastbound in the westbound traffic lane. Once the driver realized she was traveling the wrong way, she attempted to make a u-turn across three lanes of traffic and was struck by a Chevrolet pick up that was traveling westbound.

The driver, 81 year old Lolita Dunaway-Key of Florida and her 80 year old passenger were transported to St. Elizabeth hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pick up truck was also transported to St. Elizabeth with minor injuries.

This crash is still under investigation and there are no further details at this time.
