Last updated 3/28/2014 at Noon

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is expecting a line of showers and thunderstorms to develop or move into southeast Texas between 6:00 - 8:00 pm this evening. The line of storms is expected to move across southwest, central, and south central Louisiana between 8:00 pm and midnight.

There is a small risk that some of these storms could be strong to severe, capable of producing large hail or damaging winds. The most likely area to see this activity will be in east Texas and central Louisiana, with a much smaller risk along and south of the I-10 corridor.
