Junior Smith, 68, of Village Mills, died Thursday, March 27, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

A native of Leesville, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor, and Southeast Texas. Junior was a graduate of Vidor High School and served his country in the US Air Force. He was a purchasing Agent for Beaumont State Center for Human Development for 30 years.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 31, at Memorial Funeral Home. Junior is survived by his brothers Jay Smith of Orange, and Larry Smith of Woodville.
