Pat L. Thompson, Jr., 73, from Orange, died March 31, at his residence. Cremation will be held at Claybar Funeral Home.

He was born in Vicksburg, MS, on Oct. 26, 1940. Pat was the son of Pat Long Thompson Sr. and Ethel Mary (Thompson) Thompson. He worked as a semi-truck driver, and was also in the Army from Oct. 3, 1959, to Oct. 7, 1967. He was also in the Navy from June 14, 1968, to Aug. 7, 1970. His passion was golfing, fishing, and loving his dog.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Arva B. Darden –Fisette- Thompson; and his fur son Moe Thompson. His children are Dalona J. Fisette from Orange, Ricky P. and Stacey Fisette from Beaumont, Stacy A. Fisette from Orange, and Tommy Thompson. Pat’s grandchildren are Hunter Lenhard, Dylan Lenhard, Kody Fisette, Emily Fisette, and Caroline Fisette; brothers James and Tonie Thompson from Groves, and Bubba and Jeanette Thompson from Buna; brothers-in-law, Donnie Darden, Charles Darden and wife, Mary, and also tons of nieces and nephews.
