Janice Gail Turnbull, 73, of Port Neches, died Wednesday, April 9, at her residence.

Janice was born Oct. 23, 1940 in Brookeland, to Hamp Ellis Longoria and Rebecca Sue Kelly Longoria. She was a resident of Port Neches for 50 years and a member of Abundant Life Sanctuary in Groves. Janice retired in 1998 from the Texas Department of Human Services where she was a Social Worker.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with the Rev. David Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Visitation for family and friends will be from noon until time of service on Saturday, April 12, at the funeral home.

She is survived by her friend and companion, Clarence Pete Griffis of Buna; best friend, Gloria Fontnow Primeaux of Spring; godchild, Monica Lemoine, of Bridge City; cousins, Pat Brandon and Evelyn Brandon, both of Bridge City, and numerous nieces and nephews.
