The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is expecting dry weather and near normal temperatures through at least Saturday. A cold front will move across the region on Monday, producing scattered showers and thunderstorms, some of which have a small chance of becoming strong to severe. Behind the front, below normal temperatures will extend through much of next week.
