A Bridge City man was struck and killed Thursday, April 24, as he was walking down Hwy. 62 in Orange County. Jefferson Glenn Kimbro, 36, was struck and killed as he stepped into the roadway at about 6:00 am.

The Department of Public Safety said Kimbro was first struck by a 2000 Ford truck, and knocked into the southbound lane of traffic, and struck again by a 2012 Toyota passenger vehicle. Kimbro died at the scene.

Neither driver of the vehicles were injured.
