Exa Elaine White, 74, of Orange, died Thursday morning in the Meadows Nursing Home in Orange.

Elaine was born in Logansport, LA, to Howard and Marjorie Hasty Cassidy. She was Baptist, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Elaine is survived by her husband Jack White of Orange; son Thomas Dobson of College Station; daughter Nora White of Orange; grandson Wade Guaniera; two great grandchildren; sister Kathy Black and husband Tommy of Hemphill; brothers; Joe Cassidy of Washington state, Paul Cassidy and wife Millie of Hemphill, John Cassidy and wife Debbie of Lufkin, and Jack Cassidy and wife Debbie of Hemphill.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Donna White; grandchildren, Shalaine and Stacey, and her brother James Cassidy.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, April 25, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 25, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hemphill Cemetery.
