Clyde R. Jordan, 86, of Vidor died Tuesday, May 27, at Vidor Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Vidor.

A native of Oakdale, LA., Clyde was a longtime resident of Vidor, and a retired Precinct 4 Orange County Constable in Vidor. Clyde served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, at Memorial Funeral Home.

Clyde was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Larabee “Bea” Jordan; daughter Susie Jordan; parents Willie Jordan and Bessie Mae Monk Jordan; brother Billy Jordan, and his sister Jo Allen.

Clyde is survived by his son Billy Jordan and wife Lou of Vidor; daughters Becky Michelli and husband Carl of Baker, LA., and Patty Walker of Vidor; brother Bobby Jordan of Agnes, TX., five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many friends.
