On May 30, Goldie Louise Lindsey Buker went to her heavenly home while surrounded by her loving family, Valerie Keneson (Bradley) of Vidor; Ralph Buker (Geneva) of Orange; and Vickie Doucet of Melbourne, Fl, as well as extended family and friends.

Goldie Louise was born on Dec. 26, 1923 in Dunbar, WV, to the late Herbert William Lindsey and Minnie May Lindsey. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1941. She moved from her home in Dunbar, in Aug. of 1966 to make her home in the great State of Texas.

In 1947, Goldie Louise married the love of her life, Lorenzo Emery Buker. Besides Goldie Louise's three children, she was blessed with seven grandchildren, Ryan A. Buker (Cathy) of Orange, Derrick E. Cantu (Aubrey) of San Antonio, Bradley J. Keneson II (Amy) of Forth Worth, Keith R. Buker (Judith) of Dallas, Katelyn B. Keneson of Vidor, Rachel Messick and David Doucet (Amy). She was also blessed with five great grandchildren, William E. Messick of Vidor, Stella Doucet of Orlando, Fl, Landry E. Cantu of San Antonio, Tanner A. Buker of Dallas, and Emily L. Buker of Orange.

Goldie Louise was a member of First United Methodist Church in Orange, and the Sunset Grove Country Club. She was a dear woman who gave her all and excelled in many things, including the sports of bowling and golf for many years. Those who knew her felt loved and valued, and she was seldom without a smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Henry Lindsey and Carl Ray Lindsey, Sr., and her sisters Elizabeth Joanna Jenkins and Linda L. Lindsey Ferguson.

Goldie Louise is survived by sisters, Freda Crewdson of Tampa, Fl., and Eva Garrett of Raleigh, NC; and brothers Thomas Lindsey (Mary) of Melbourne, Fl, and Joseph Douglas Lindsey (Jeanie) of Nitro, WV.
