Betty J. Jones Flannagin, 79, of Vidor died Wednesday, June 4, at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor.

A native of Votaw, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Betty was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in VIdor, and she retired as food service manager for VISD.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 6, at Harmony Baptist Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Votaw Cemetery in Votaw, at 1:00 pm. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, June 5, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.

Betty was preceded in death by her husbands Ruil L. "Buck" Jones, and Patrick Flannigan.

She is survived by her son, Michael L. Jones and Rhonda of Vidor; daughters, Audrey McDonald and her husband Donnie of Vidor, Stacey Posey and her husband Danny of Buna; step-daughters, Patricia Anderson and her husband Bobby of Orange, Colleen Hill of Vidor; sister, Wilma Jackson of Votaw, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
