Shirley Mae LaSalle Samuels, 81, of Orange, passed away Tuesday, May 27, in Houston.

Shirley was born Jan. 26, 1933 in Port Arthur, to Charlie and Belzire LaSalle.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard W. Samuels, Sr.

Those who will most cherish her memory are her children, Richard W. Samuels, Jr., Michael K. Samuels, Lori L. Samuels and Susan M. Samuels; sister, Norma Flanagan; grandsons, Joshua D. Samuels, Dante Samuels, Derick Samuels and Daniel Samuels, and her great granddaughter, Harper E. Samuels.

Memorial Services to remember and honor Shirley’s life will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 6, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, with Father Joseph P. Daleo, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
