Saturday, June 7, at about 10:15 a.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to a shooting at a residence in the 400 block of Florence Street in Vidor.

Upon arrival, deputies found a 60 year old deceased, white male inside the residence. The male appeared to have several gunshot wounds. Also in the residence was an uninjured 47 year old white male, who was the homeowner. He was the person who called the authorities.
