Norma Carol Curran, 79, of Orange, went to be with the Lord on June 5.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 13, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 12, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in McPherson, Ks., on Nov. 15, 1934 she was the daughter of Orville O. and Jennie M. (Shidler) Braymer. Norma was a member of First Christian Church. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi since April of 1956; and was owner of Genco Enterprises.

Norma will be dearly be missed by family, friends, and those whom their lives were touched by her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn E. Curran; grandson Joshua P. Erway; and brother, Orville S. Braymer.

She is survived by her children, Corbin D. Erway and wife, Judy of Vidor, Carol L. Gaspard and husband, Tommy J. of Port Arthur, and Patrick D. Beebe and wife, Cindy of Orange; grandchildren, David L. Erway and wife Carrie, Timothy P. Thompson and wife Sable, and Peyton A. Beebe; great-grandchildren Emily M. Erway, Brandon P. Erway, and Rider P. Thompson; and her brother, Verlyn D. Braymer and wife, Patti of California.

Serving as pallbearers will be David L. Erway, Timothy P. Thompson, Jr., Corbin D. Erway, Glenn “Bubba” Johnson, Verlyn D. Brayner, and Tommy J. Gaspard. Honorary pallbearer is Freddie Yust.
