Trooper struck by vehicle while working accident

A DPS trooper was injured Wednesday evening while working an accident on IH-10 near FM 1136.
The trooper, Kim Ousman, was working an accident when another vehicle struck her patrol car. The patrol car then struck Ousman. She was conscious at the scene but was transported to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle which struck Ousman's car was stopped by authorities. Ousman has been released from the hospital
