The Orange County Historical Society will host a program on “Buckaroos, Birds, and Blankets”: H.J. Lutcher Stark as art collector, given by Sarah Boehme. The program will be Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 6:30 pm at the meeting room of the Orange Public Library. The public is invited.

Boehme will give a slide program exploring how H.J. Lutcher Stark (1887-1965) developed  his art collection, holdings of paintings, sculptures, rare books and other objects became the basis of the Stark Museum of Art.

Boehme is the curator of the museum, and the author of numerous publications on art.
