Vidor man arrested on drug charges
Wednesday, July 30, a Vidor man was arrested in the Birtie St. area of Orange, after a traffic stop.
Richard David Shock was arrested when he it was determined he did not have a valid driver’s license. While doing an inventory of the truck, prior to it being towed, numerous controlled substances were found.
The largest amount of drugs located was about 17 grams of methamphetamine, which is a second degree felony. Other smaller amounts of drugs located were crack cocaine, diluadad, xanax, adderall, hydrocodone, klonopin and marijuana.
Shock was taken to the Orange County Jail, where he was booked for one count of second degree felinely possession of a controlled substance; three counts of a class B misdemeanor; possession of a controlled substance; one count of class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and three class C misdemeanor traffic violations.
Judge David Peck arraigned ShockThursday morning, and set his bond at $10,100. Shock remains in custody at the OC Jail.
