The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that it has named Achtwoo Pool and Spa Professionals as Business of the Month for August. Larry & Elizabeth Tyson accepted the award from Bridge City Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Elyse Thibodeaux on Aug. 12, at the monthly networking coffee hosted by The Port of Orange. Along with the award, sponsored by David Self Ford, Mr. and Mrs. Tyson received gifts from Complete Staffing, David Self Ford, and Tiger Rock Martial Arts.

Achtwoo Pool and Spa Professionals was founded in Jan. 2008 by Larry H. Tyson, Jr. They opened their first retail store in Bridge City ,in 2009, followed by a second retail store in Galveston in 2010, and a third retail store in Groves in 2014.

Setting aside short-term profits in order to focus on long-term relationships, they have become the premier pool service company in Southeast Texas and on Galveston Island. Achtwoo has a service department that provides weekly pool service, equipment repairs and they are the warranty station for Hayward, Jandy and Pentair manufacturers. Their factory trained technicians have fully stocked trucks to ensure there is no delay in repairs.
